Nunga News

Na Marni (Hello Everyone), my name is Kath and I’m the Aboriginal Community Education Officer (ACEO) at West Beach Primary School. I am a Ngarrindjeri woman from Raukkan on the Coorong. I provide support to the Nunga (Aboriginal) students and families.

I work Monday and Wednesday from 9am - 12pm. I will also have a regular article in the newsletter to keep you updated on Nunga activities at the school.

Every fortnight I hold meetings with the Nunga kids, called the Nunga Group, to do cultural activities, and to share and learn from each other. These meetings will be held from 11.20am – 11.50am (after recess).
