MOLTEN 3ON3 CHALLENGE

On Thursday 23 April, 8 of the EIS Basketball students from Year 10 competed in the Molten 3on3 Challenge at the State Basketball Centre.

 

The Boys team of Corey Pollock, Luke Petrie, Ryan Elvey and Reece Harte played well all day, winning all their pool games to progress through to the semi-finals, only to get beaten by 1 point. The boys went on to finish 7th. 

 

The Girls team of Brit Campbell, Brianna Saxon, Nicole Akers and Chloe Anderson were unlucky to lose 2 games by 1 point which meant they missed out on the finals. The girls did a good job and won 2 games for the day. 

 

Well done to all involved.

 

 

SENIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL

On Friday 17 April,  2 teams from Lilydale, competed in the Yarra Division Basketball Competition at Kilsyth Basketball Stadium. 

 

The girls in the B Division played well all day and managed to make the Grand Final and finish Runners Up. 

 

The A team girls, played well all day and won all their games convincingly to win the day and progress through to the Region competition in July.
