Primary Co-Curricular

Primary Co-Curricular Report

Mother Nature and the Year 6 Father and Son Camp ensured that Week 5 was a quiet week on the sporting front. There were no Friday tennis games and Kanga Cricket was also washed out.

The Year 5 tennis team had a strong win (5-2) away against Westminster and the Year 5 cricketers took on PAC on our home oval. Mr Brealey was very pleased with the tennis team. Brian and Daniel produced an excellent effort in the top double to win 6-4 after being 4-1 down. Rowan and Angus won both their doubles and singles matches. A terrific effort from the boys!

This week sees a full calendar. All of our tennis teams have home fixtures at either Barton Tce or Blair Athol, whilst our cricket teams take on Pulteney. With only two weeks of the season to go, it would be nice to finish off with quality and good spirit. Again, some players failed to show up for their matches or communicate with their coaches.

Isaiah Lee – Table Tennis

Isaiah continues to go from strength to strength! Isaiah was recently selected in the Australian Junior Table Tennis Squad. He is the sole representative in the squad from South Australia; an achievement in itself. We wish Isaiah all the best following his inclusion in the elite National Squad.

Uniform Returns

Following the conclusion of the Term 4 Co-Curricular season, a request will be made for the return of all tennis or cricket shirts. Can families please ensure that all shirts are returned in a washed condition before the end of term.
