Follow up from our excursion to the Museum:

These are some of the comments when we reviewed the museum visit with the children.

Eve                         “The squid was ginormous.”

Loc                         “I saw the tunnel and we can go in there. We can see crabs, not real ones they’re fake.”

Alex                       “Some bones.”

Mila                       “I liked the bones.”

Lara                        “I saw the horses – real horses.”

Amelia                 “The horses were skeletons – they weren’t real, we didn’t see them real, we saw them as                                   skeletons. We saw a shark with skin on and it was fake; up on the roof.”

A good time was had by all and the learning immeasurable.

Hairdressing Salon – Just Opened in the Purple Room

Do you need a perm, wash, new style or just a trim. The purple room can cater for your hairdressing needs.

We are learning about real life experiences and are very grateful to Alex Marafiote, Estetica Hairdressing for accommodating a visit from the purple room children to his salon. All staff and many of the children have new cuts or styles.

Nativity Performance

On Tuesday 28 November at 10.00am the ELC will be hosting our nativity performance in the Fr James O’Doherty Performing Arts Centre, Blackfriars Priory School. Please supply a small plate of food for morning tea to be shared at the Early Leaning Centre afterwards. Follow the stars and signs from the Highbury Street entrance to the theatre.
