Congratulations - Open A Water Polo
Congratulations to the Open A Water Polo team on their emphatic 15-2 win against Prince Alfred College in their last game of the season. The win had double cause for celebration as the result meant the team have gone through the 2017 season undefeated. Well done boys !
A particular mention to Jesse Taylor (Year 10) who was outstanding, scoring 7 goals with numerous assists also. Outgoing Captain Peter Burgess (Year 12) was also excellent in his final game for Blackfriars.
A point of note. The Open A team, (pictured above) wore the Fenwick School caps (with the Dominican Shield on the front) for their final game of the year. This was done by agreement with Fenwick, our sister school in Chicago, USA, as the game was played prior to St Albert's Day, which of course both schools acknowledge.
