OUR FAITH

PRAYER

Lord God, true Light and Creator of light, grant that faithfully pondering on all that is holy, we may ever live in the splendor of your presence. Amen

We pray ...

for all candidates preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation, for Miss Giddy and her family on the passing of her grandfather, for all who are sick and unwell in our school community and we pray for desperately needed rain.

LITURGY NEWS

This week 3G had the opportunity to attend Reconciliation with Fr Chris. Next week Fr Chris will visit Kindergarten.

Cath Family

Cath Family is a great online resource for families. It assists families by providing them with contemporary and simple home-based rituals for practical faith experiences with children. You can also subscribe to a monthly magazine. A very easy read. Well worth a look. http://cathfamily.org/

Father's Day Celebrations

Last Friday we were able to acknowledge and thank all the wonderful male role models we have in our lives with a Father's Day pancake breakfast and Liturgy. A big thank you to everyone behind the scenes who made this celebration possible.  We would also like to thank Fr Paul McCabe, all the students and teachers who made the liturgy so meaningful. The students always enjoy your company at school and we take pride in having the opportunity to play, pray and worship together. We hope that our all our dads had an enjoyable Father’s Day and were spoilt in one way or another by their families.

FAMILY MASS

Our next Family Mass is this Sunday 8th September at 9.30a.m (Yr 1 and Yr 5 hosting) and we remind all our families that EVERYONE is invited and welcome at our Family Masses, not just those grades providing morning tea.

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred by Bishop Kennedy in our St Nicholas Parish on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September. Please keep our Confirmation Candidates in your prayers. Parents of Candidates please ensure that the relevant forms/monies including Sponsors documentation are returned to school as they are now overdue.

INFANTS LITURGY (Kindergarten - Yr 2)

On Wednesday 25th September there will be an Infants Liturgy at St Nicholas Church beginning at 9.30am. We invite all of our parents, families and friends to attend.
