TOP DESIGNS 

Top Designs is an annual exhibition at Melbourne Museum presenting work created by students who have completed and excelled at VCE Media, Product Design and Technology, Theatre Studies, Systems Engineering and Visual Communication Design, as well as a range of VCE VET studies.

Visual Communication Design received over 400 submissions this year, of which only 47 were shortlisted and only 16 Visual Communication Design students were selected for the exhibition.

Congratulations to Katie Zhou, one of our Year 12 Visual Communication Design students from last year, whose artwork was selected to be exhibited in this year’s very prestigious Top Design exhibition as part of the VCE Season of Excellence. 

The exhibition is on at Melbourne Museum until Sunday 12 July. Students considering doing Year 12 VCD are strongly encouraged to attend.

PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS – ARTS SHOW 2019

Each year in November, we hold an Arts Show where we celebrate the achievements of our amazing art students.

All visitors to the Arts Show Opening night were asked to vote for their favourite artwork in both the Junior and the Senior schools. The student who received the most votes wins the People’s Choice Award, which includes a cheque and a certificate. 

Congratulations to all these students who received votes from Years 7 - 9. 

Congratulations to James Williams (Year 9) who worked extremely well on his Pop Art painting and is the winner for the People’s Choice Award for the Junior school. 

Congratulations to all these students who received votes for the People’s Choice award for the Senior School.

Congratulations to Lisa Winkler, a very talented and hard-working Year 12 student. She spent many hours working on her artworks and demonstrated resilience, determination and passion. You could often find her in the art room, working many extra hours to create her incredible paintings.
