A message from Emmanuel College

Congratulations to the many students who received Achievement Awards at this week’s Celebration of Excellence Evening. Well done to Year 12 students Max Buck and Lucas Gauci, and staff members Glen Robertson and Kaitlyn Murphy, as Marianist Excellence Awardees, and College Scholarship awardees Lily McColl and Nicholas Tucker. Congratulations also to Guest Speaker, Kirsty Martin, a member of our parent community, on her outstanding career with The Australian Ballet and her inspiring address.

A very big thank you and congratulations to Emmanuel College students on their support for a variety of organisations over the course of the year, supporting the vulnerable and needy in our community.  More than $15,000 has been donated by students and staff to support organisations such as Caritas, St Vincent de Paul, Joseph’s Corner, our Marianist sponsor students and many others.  Students have also raised awareness of a range of social justice concerns in our world.  Emmanuel College will finish the year with one final social justice appeal for Christmas; students are donating food to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and toys to Joseph’s Corner in a bid to share the joy of Christmas with all families.
