Christmas Hampers
A big part of Christmas is giving, especially to the people who need it most. All classes are collecting items to make Christmas hampers that St Vincent de Paul will distribute this season. These hampers will help families celebrate Christmas Day with items that they would not normally be able to afford. The items below are being collected by year levels for these hampers. Your donations are very much appreciated.
Year Prep: Toiletries
Year 1: Pasta and pasta sauce
Year 2: Rice
Year 3: Canned food
Year 4: Cereals
Year 5: Long life milk
Year 6: Toiletries
Thanking you in advance for your generosity.
Mrs Mamone's baby has finally arrived!
Introducing Sebastian Joseph Mamone, who was born on 23 October at St Vincent’s. Congratulations Michelle and Joe, he is just adorable.
Please slow down and drive carefully
Because there are over 350 families who are eager to leave the property at the same time, the car park is often congested and difficult to manoeuvre in. You are asked to exercise extreme patience when in the car park. You must only park in a designated car parking space and pick up your child either from the classroom or the designated waiting area. Exit onto Everingham Road by the large exit gate. You may turn left or right when exiting. Pedestrians are to walk on the designated paths and should not exit via the car entrance gate. Parents of older students may choose to use the Drop Off and Pick Up zone.

Well Done!
CONGRATULATIONS to Jeremy N (Prep B) for his winning entry in the recent Drawn by the Bay competition. His piece was based on the story ‘Kookoo the Kookaburra’. He is very happy to be a published illustrator! - Sue Rigby, Art Teacher.
Donate your old glasses
Do you have any old pairs of spectacles at home that you no longer wear? Time to clear out that junk drawer and donate the glasses to a good cause! Prep B have organised a donation box so your glasses can be recycled. The collection box can found in the school office. The glasses will then be donated to people in need overseas through Lions Recycle for Sight, facilitated by Specsavers Werribee Community Program.

A message from the Office
To avoid disruption to classrooms, if children need to be collected early they should be picked up at the lunch break (at 1:30pm Monday or 1:40pm Tuesday-Friday). It is also very disruptive for classes and the office to by passing on messages to children in the afternoons. It would be appreciated if these interruptions could be kept to a minimum.
