Prayer
Last weekend was Pentecost Sunday. The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety and Fear of the Lord.
Come Holy Spirit
Fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love .
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created
And you shall renew the face of the earth.
Grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations.
Through Christ our Lord.
Senior Athletics Carnival
What a marvellous day was provided for my last Senior Athletics Carnival yesterday! After having to cancel our Senior Swimming Carnival earlier in the year due to poor weather, and many of our carnivals over the past two years also being cancelled, yesterday was truly magnificent.
Well done to all the students for participating with such spirit, and thanks to Mr Matt Stearn for organising a well-run day.
Congratulations to Treacy House for their win.
The other results were Second - Rice, Third - Purton and Fourth - Barron.
Please see Senior School Sport page for further details on the results.
Junior Athletics Carnival
Today's Junior Athletics Carnival was another great day out at Homebush. The boys were wonderful in their lively participation in the sunshine. We will announce the winning House in Woodchatta next week.
CIS Cup Football Semi-Final
Tonight our 1st XI Football team takes on Knox Grammar at Valentine Park in the CIS Cup Football Semi-Final. The College is providing buses to take students to and from the event, and students should be back at the College by 9.00 pm at the latest. Thank you to the staff who have generously offered to attend tonight and we also have hired security to ensure a smooth event.
Good luck to our 1st XI team.
