Second-hand uniform sales -   So far this year we have raised $520 for State School Relief through the sale of second-hand uniforms. This charity uses funds raised to directly assist vulnerable and disadvantaged students in Victoria with brand new uniform items, footwear, and other essential educational resources.

Bread & Butter Pudding

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 300ml pure cream
  • 8 thick slices of white bread, crusts removed
  • 40g Butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Sultanas
  • 50gm Chocolate Chips 
  • Cream or ice cream, to serve

 

Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. 

Grease a 5cm-deep, 17cm x 28cm (base) baking dish.

Whisk eggs, caster sugar, vanilla, milk, and cream in a bowl.

Sprinkle with the sultanas on the bottom of the dish.

Cut bread slice in half. Arrange the bread in rows in the prepared dish.

Brush with melted butter, and sprinkle over chocolate chips.

Pour egg mixture over bread. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden and set. Serve with cream or ice cream.
