Upcoming learning:

During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:

Reading	To read and analyse the structure of different letter writers.
Writing	To write letters to friends that are interesting, engaging and entice a response from the reader.
Maths	To engage in hand on experiences exploring the concepts of perimeter and area.
Science	To show how night and day occur by making a revolving 3-D Earth.
Inquiry	Who lived here first and how do we know? The inquiry focus for this term will be Australian History.
Social & emotional learning	To consider time management, constructing a classroom morning schedule to be used daily.

News and reminders

This week Year 3 students will start to have a fortnightly scheduled 1 minute presentation in front of their class. They will have time at home to practice and prepare in front of their family. They will be encouraged to stand, speak clearly, make eye contact and respond to audience questions.
