Resource Centre

It has been a busy start to Term 3 with many students returning and borrowing more books from both the fiction and non-fiction areas. Many of the new books on display have been borrowed with more being added to replace them.

As NAIDOC Week was celebrated during the school holidays the display of literature by Aboriginal authors celebrating this important event will remain on display for two more weeks to give the College community an opportunity to visit the Resource Centre and view and engage with the items presented which also include Aboriginal artefacts.

Another shipment of fiction and non-fiction titles has arrived and will soon be available for students to borrow. Year 12 students are taking advantage of the many support materials in the Resource Centre during their study lessons in preparation for their exams.

The Book Club theme for July is Fantasy with a collection of books from this genre displayed in the Resource Centre accompanied by a list of authors who specialise in this area of literature. Also, don’t forget to check out the ACEN Member Collection (SORA) for both digital and audiobooks.
