I hope everyone is managing to stay warm. This cold snap is certainly a true introduction to Winter. Please ensure your children have warm clothing, particularly a jumper at school. We have many jumpers in the lost property, so if you have misplaced items, please contact us to collect. We are more than willing to assist families if your child/ren need a second-hand jumper, simply contact the office to organise.
Inter-school sports for our 5 / 6 students have been a highlight of every week. I hope they are chatting to you at home about their experiences in whatever sport it is they have chosen to be a part of.
Reports
Teachers are busy preparing reports for all students. Reports will be sent home in the last week of term. Student Led Conferences are being organised for Week 9 Term 2 to ensure students can showcase their learnings and teachers, parents / carers can communicate face to face about progress and any areas for improvement. We are looking forward to having these conversations.
Attitudes to School Survey
In the next few weeks students in Years 4-6 will be completing the Attitudes to School survey in class. This survey is conducted annually in Term 2 and aims to collect data in relation to how our students are feeling about school and their learning.
Uniform
We currently have several students wearing black or coloured bottoms / footy shorts and non-uniform jumpers; incorrect beanies are appearing at school. Please ensure your child is in correct uniform each day. This includes navy blue bottoms and the tops, school beanies with the school logo on it. If you require support with uniform, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Early Dismissal for end of Term Two
Students will be dismissed at 1.30 pm at the end of Term Two and Bus Travellers at 2.10 pm.
