Its been amazing having all school back to normal and having all of the children returning to before and after school care, seeing their smiling faces each and every morning and afternoon make this job well worth it. In saying that we still ask you pre book your sessions as our staffing needs to be correct for all.
Over the last few weeks the children have been getting creative, this started with Halloween and decorating our own pumpkins which are displayed on the windows, they have also been enjoying spending most of the afternoons outside when the weather has permitted this, we love tracing ourselves with chalk and practicing our skills on the bars.
Recently the children have been extremely excited about Christmas, we have been getting all of our Christmas decorations completed and ready to start hanging up around the room, we have recently purchased a Christmas tree which the children asked for and we are all excited to decorate the tree as a group.
Some of the children started painting boxes and making 'Santa's workshop' which has also been a great creative activity for the children.
since returning I've noticed all the children working so closely together and making all children feel comfortable and welcome, especially our new children who have joined us recently.
With the end of year nearing close our holiday program bookings have opened up, we have an incredible selection of excursions, incursions and special activity days over the weeks we are open, you can download the booklet online via our website, we will also have copies in service and at the office that you will be able to grab.
If you are currently not enrolled with TheirCare but wish to use our holiday program all you need to do is sign up and enroll, its a great time for the children to all spend quality time with each other and make some new friends after the year we have all had.
