A Blessing for Year 12s

As you go on your way

May you be blessed

May you have the grace and wisdom

to act kindly and with conviction

May you always act out of love and service

May you work on yourself

building up and refining the ways of your mind

May those you journey with

know that you see and respect them

May you learn to cultivate the art of presence

in order to engage with all those you meet

May you know the wisdom of deep listening

The healing of wholesome words

The encouragement of the appreciative gaze

The decorum of dignity

The sun that continues to shine behind the clouds

May you have good friends

Who teach your more about yourself

May the whole of life be for you

An adventure of growth into wholeness

May you be blessed with all good things

May the light at the core of your being illuminate the world

May you always feel protected 

and cradled in the arms of God

May you be blessed, 

and may others be blessed by us.
