Prep/1 SG - RE

This term, In Religious Education, the Prep/One children have been exploring the meaning of Advent. We learned about the meaning of the four candles which are lit in the lead up to Christmas. The children discussed what Hope, Faith, Joy and Peace mean for them in their personal lives and recorded their ideas. We set up the four candles on our prayer table and have been counting down the days until Christmas. 

We have also been discussing the story of the Nativity and have been sharing how Christmas is special for us in terms of our Catholic Faith.
