Summer Sport

Summer sport trials will continue next week. Below is the list of trial dates that are left to complete. It is very important that you attend the set date so that teams can be finalised by the end of Week 6.

I would like to thank all those students who have ensured that they have been wearing BMGS gear for trials.

As stated in last week’s newsletter, I am permitting students to trial for more than one sport. Students will however only be permitted to play in one sport. 

Trial dates:

Tuesday 9th November

Years 9/10 Boys' Basketball

Year 11 Boys' and Girls' Touch Football

Years 9/10 Cricket

Wednesday 10th November

Years 7/8 Boys' Basketball – 2nd Trial

Years 7/8 Girls' Basketball – 2nd Trial

Thursday 11th November

Years 9/10 Boys' Touch Football

Year 11 Boys' and Girls' Basketball

Year 11 Cricket

Trials run from 3:15pm until 4:30pm. Students are requested to wait for parent pickup after trials at the bus stop located outside the school gates.

Any students who play Cricket and are in Years 7/8, please see Mr Collins by Monday to discuss your cricket history.

During Term 4 students will be permitted to leave training in their BMGS sports gear. Please ensure you have the correct gear for trials.

The official ISA competition will be run in Term 1, however, we are now in the process of organising trial games for the end of this term.

Uniforms

Once you have been named in a team, please attend the Uniform Shop to be fitted for a uniform. If your uniform still fits from last season, please confirm the number that you will be wearing (if relevant) to your MIC.

I am currently arranging trial games. Please keep 20th and 27th November free and watch this space for updates.
