Leadership Induction Ceremony

I would like to commend Aimee Drummond (Year 11) on her sensational performance ofThe Light in the Piazza by Adam Guettel from the Musical of the same name. The score of this musical breaks from the 21stCcentury tradition of pop music on Broadway,  borrowing from  Neoromantic classical music and opera, and is more heavily orchestrated than most Broadway scores.

Music Scholarship

Congratulations to Josephine Smith (Year 10) who has been awarded a scholarship at the Mitchell Conservatorium in Bathurst for 2022.  Josephine performed two pieces on trumpet,(via video due  to COVID restrictions ) as well as awritten submission detailing  her extensive involvement in music. 

Music Ensembles

It is unfortunate that our Music Ensembles are still unable to rehearse due to COVID restrictions. However, I would like to encourage all our musicians to continue practising in preparation for possible end of year performances.
