Mathematics Department - CAS Calculators

It’s that time of the year, when the Maths department will be putting in an order for CAS calculators.  The CAS that we use at St. Peter’s College is the TI Nspire CX II CAS.  We start at Year 10 to ensure that students are familiar with how the CAS functions before they begin their VCE Maths studies. 

With Year 12 students finishing up their Maths exams, now is the perfect time to start thinking about purchasing these second hand, or to consider ordering through the College.  If you are purchasing pre-used, make sure you test that the CAS battery holds its charge so that you can purchase a replacement battery if needed. Also, make sure that it comes with a charging cable.  If you are currently in Year 9, 10 or 11, you should have received an Operoo form regarding purchasing your CAS new through the school.

COLLEGE EVENTS PHOTOGRAPHER REQUIRED

St. Peter’s College is currently seeking a Photographer for the remainder of the 2021 School Year and the 2022 School Year.

If you are a photographer, and feel you could deliver a myriad of subject briefs, which would mainly be of students in their day to day activities at both the Clyde North and Cranbourne Campus and you would be available for 15-20 events/days a year, (usually in the school day with the exception of three evening events in Term 4 of each year), please contact our Marketing Manager, April Hampson via email to discuss.

Digital images only required usually within a week, although some events may need a few images available the next day.  Half daily, daily and evening flat rate to be negotiated.

The College sets the majority of our Calendar of Events by the end of the year and from there dates and times can be known well ahead of time.

Working with Children Check and full  COVID-19 Vaccination status required to work on Campus.
