MOVEMBER CHARITY

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help me stop men dying too young. We all have special men in our lives. They come in a variety of forms - Dads, brothers, sons, partners, uncles, cousins, friends, work mates, Grandpa's, I'm sure there is more on the list that I have forgotten. We love them and unfortunately we have all lost at least one of these special people in our lives. So let's chip in where we can to help support Movember to in turn support our special men. 

A number of year 9 boys at Korumburra Secondary College have offered to help in this campaign and are going to try the best they can to grow a Mo. I haven't asked for a fresh face at the start of the month. I have suggested to start with what they've already got! A Mo of any sort is not an easy thing to grow for many men, so to have a go in year 9 is even more difficult .I'm asking you to get behind these great young men and support KSC in our Movember campaign. 

I will be running 60km's during Movember to represent the 60 men that die by suicide every hour across the world. So jump on board, grow a mo, wear a mo, donate to a mo and cover 60k's this month. We will be holding a special Mo raiser at school on the 30th of November to also help raise money and awareness.
