I am pleased to announce that Melton City Libraries is participating in the Victorian Statewide Big Summer Read Program.
The Big Summer Read aims to arrest the ‘summer slide’ by engaging children and their families in a fun and dynamic campaign through public libraries, supported with resources such as a user-friendly website and downloadable activity sheets. Distinctive state-wide branding encourages participation in the program, whether children are at home or on holidays elsewhere in Victoria.
We’ll have a range of face to face School Holiday Activities for students throughout January to ensure they’ll visit our libraries to participate in the Big summer Read fun. I’ll let you know about the SHP soon.
The Big Summer Read runs from 1 December 2021 until 31 January 2022 with the major prize draw to take place in early February 2022. For more information head to https://plv.beanstack.org/reader365

Caroline Springs Lions Club
A huge thank you to the Caroline Springs Lions Club for their ongoing support this year in funding our lunchtime fruit and food program.
