Learning and Teaching

Healthy Lifestyles- Fitness Testing
As a component of their Project Based Learning task for Healthy Lifestyles this term, students competed a number of fitness tests facilitated by Global Performance Testing. As part of their task, students will track and monitor their current physical activity levels, design their own activity plan and participate in a number of activities in their practical classes to improve their fitness components. Students will complete the fitness testing again in Week 10, and evaluate their results, hopefully seeing an improvement.
All students that completed the testing have had their results individually emailed to their school email account.
The team at Global Performance Testing were amazed with the work the school was doing to improve the physical literacy of our students and noted how impressed they were with our students respect, patience, attention and overall commitment to the testing process.

Study and Learning Support sessions
We appreciate that some students find it easier to complete home learning tasks at school or they just need extra support with their study habits. We offer Study and Learning Support (SLS) sessions after school every Thursday from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
