Literacy and Numeracy Week

In Secondary 9/10 we would like to invite you to visit us during Literacy and Numeracy week on Tuesday 4th September from 9am-10am when our classes will be engaging in their normal literacy and numeracy programs. We would love for you to come in and join your child during the session to take part in some of their learning. If you are going to come in could you please write a note to your child’s classroom teacher in their diary so that we have an indication of the number of people attending.

With only a few weeks left in the term we are starting to prepare for term 4. In the coming week or so we will be surveying the students for their Fit for Life preferences and we would encourage you to talk to them about the activities they would like to participate in. This year we are asking for students who would like to perform at our end of year Christmas celebration evening. This performance group will be a Fit for Life group and they will create and practice their performance each week. It is very important that if the students wish to be in this group, they put it down as their first preference.
