Beaumaris SC Bike Hub

Beaumaris SC Bike Hub

School Council has prioritised the design and build of a secure Bike Hub to continue to encourage a healthy lifestyle for our students by allowing them to ride to school - but we need your help to make this a reality. We are future proofing the school through this development which we anticipate will house up to 600 bicycles.

The Bike Hub will be the centrepiece of our Ride to School commitment, which will encourage a safe and healthy lifestyle for our students, as well as reducing car use, pollution and congestion on our local roads.

With the end of financial year fast approaching (30/6/18), we are encouraging parents to consider making a tax deductible contribution to our Building Fund to help in the construction of our Bike Hub.

Voluntary Financial Contributions to our Building Fund are tax deductible.

We aspire to have our students contributing positively to the community in every way possible. Cycling is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit, sustainable means of transportation. Riding helps foster physical education, promote health and wellbeing and prevents disease.

Our Bike Hub will allow our students,  teachers and our local community to safely store their bikes, top up their drinking water, carry out simple repairs and ensure their bikes are in safe working order so they can travel safely.

We greatly appreciate the contributions made by our parent community as we continue to make Beaumaris Secondary College the world-class school our community deserves.
