Year 7 Class Challenges in Term 2

So far this term, the Year 7s have participated in 2 Class Challenges: Lego Build and Carrot Cars. The class representatives have shown their building skills in both challenges, using very different materials. For the Lego Build, it was all about speed: who could put together the Lego car, complete with passenger and his briefcase, before everyone else? Well done to the winners, 7G, and to all representatives for their great competition and positive attitudes. Also, it was wonderful to see so many Year 7s cheering their teams on.

Our Carrot Cars challenge saw the groups making a movable car with great design, using 2 carrots and some toothpicks. The creative juices were flowing, with the vehicles having extra layers, flamboyant exhausts and original features. Well done to 7E for coming out on top this time.

The leaderboard is close – the winners will have a wonderful prize, and participation is key! Good luck to all!

The next challenge will be chalk drawing, so keep an eye on Highlights for updates on the efforts of our wonderful 7s.
