Production Crafternoons

We would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to all the parents and families that have helped in any way to create props, costumes, sets etc for our upcoming production. At St. Anthony’s we are so blessed to have such a wonderful and supportive school community. We really couldn’t do it without you! We are looking forward to sharing our hard work, creativity and curiosity with you all on Friday 13th September.

Learning at Home Parent/Family Sessions- Term 3

The first Learning at Home Parent/Family Session went very well last week! We had lots of fun using the iPads to investigate and explore a few different learning apps.

Our next session is on today Friday 6th September, focusing on problem solving in mathematics with Mrs Kerr and our last one for the term will be next Monday 9th September, focusing on reading with Ms Viola.

Story Time on our website

We now have a link to some stories read by teachers on our website. This can be found by going to the Learning at Home page and clicking on the link. We will continue to add more videos of teachers reading stories that you can then share at home with your families. If any parents or family members would like to read a story for this page please let me know and I can film you reading and add it to our ever growing story collection. We would love to hear from you!

Kinder Visit Group

Our students have been wonderful role models for many different kinder groups that have visited our school over the last 2 weeks. Noble Park Kindergarten came to t. Anthony’s on Wednesday and enjoyed a wonderful visit.  This visit was supported by our Noble Park Kinder Visit Group students in Grade 5 and some friends from 5/6 WE. It is lovely to see our students being amazing representatives for our school and being actively involved in our local community. I am very proud of them all!

ClassDojo and sharing learning at home

It has been wonderful to see so many families sharing the learning and discussions about learning happening at home on Dojo. It has proven to be a wonderful link between school and home in many ways!

We would love for parents to continue to share the learning that is happening at home with us. This can be done by posting comments of family discussions about homework topics or photos and videos of students completing learning tasks at home. If you are not yet signed up to ClassDojo please see me and I am more than happy to help you get connected!
