Mother's Day

The most rewarding part of being a mother is to learn to love someone in the most selfless and sacrificial way possible. It is God's gift to women everywhere; to be a Mother, Grandmother, Aunty, Sister and Friend. The role with the most unique responsibility in life that can bring us closer to understanding what God wants for each of us.

Raising a child means we are being tested, challenged, enriched, and deepened as they grow. The daily need for God's grace to guide us through parenthood helps us navigate in this lifelong journey.

With God’s grace and blessings we wish all of our Mothers, Step Mothers, Grandmas, Aunties and Carers a warm and joyful Mother's Day. We hope your little people spoil you and that you spend Sunday with those you love. 

Mother’s Day Prayer

Good and Gentle God,

We pray in gratitude for our mothers who have joined with you in the wonder of bringing forth new life. You who became human through a woman, grant to all mothers the courage they need to face the future that life with children always brings.

Give them the strength to live and to be loved in return, not perfectly, but humanly.

Give them joy and delight in their children to sustain them through the trials of motherhood. Most of all, give them the wisdom to turn to you for help when they need it most.
