Middle School Report

Middle of the last term of 2019! It has been an exciting time for the Year 8 students with them being able to select their electives for Year 9.

Year 9 Selectives

One of the exciting elements of our Year 9 program is that students will be able to choose from a range of subject choices which will give our students an opportunity for learning breadth and experience of what different subjects have to offer. Year 8 students have already put forward their selections for 2020, with the process to be completed soon.

Attendance

Daily attendance is important for all children and young people to succeed in education and to ensure they do not fall behind both socially and developmentally. School participation maximises life opportunities for children and young people by providing them with education and support networks. School helps people to develop important skills, knowledge and values that set them up for further learning and participation in their community.

Students are required to attend school and all classes, except where compelling legitimate and serious reasons prevent such attendance.  All students, at all levels, must maintain at least a 90%+ attendance rate in order to enable their promotion to the next year level.
