Father's Day Stall

FORPS will be holding our Father’s Day stall on Thursday 29 August. Each class will be given the opportunity to visit and purchase a gift for a special someone. There will be a range of gifts to choose from, including gifts for Grandfathers! Please remember to bring your own bag to take your purchases home in.

We will require volunteers to help out with the stall from 9am to 11am and 11.30am to 1.30pm.

Many volunteers are still required for our Bunnings BBQ!!!

Rosanna Primary School is very lucky to have been offered a fundraising opportunity by Bunnings Northland to host a BBQ at the beginning of spring!

We require volunteers to cook, serve and handle money. If you’re available for an hour or two we would love to hear from you. For the first time we are trialling an online sign up system for volunteers. Here's how it works in 3 easy steps:

If each of our Rosanna families donated one or more Lucky Envelope or Lucky Dip prizes it would greatly assist our fair. Please ensure no second hand goods are donated.

Sponsorship and Donation Opportunities

Our preparations for the school fair will be ramping up in Term 3 so keep an eye out for announcements in the newsletter and COMPASS. We are still looking for key sponsors. We need their support so we can make this the most successful RPS fair ever! If you know any individuals or businesses who are able to support our school fair you can provide them with this letter which outlines details of sponsorship and donation options. We appreciate contributions of all sizes. If you would like some hard copies to distribute to your friends, family or neighbours, please contact forps3084@gmail.com.

One More Week To Go!!!

During the month of August, a “Silver Coin Challenge” will be held between all classes.

Students are asked to collect as much spare change from family and friends, (seek parent/guardian permission first), bring it to school and place it into their classroom collection jars.

Each collection jar will be counted and tallied, and at the end of the month, the classroom who raises the most money will receive a hot chip lunch.

Funds raised from this challenge will form part of FORPS fundraising for the year, which will be put towards projects around the school including the ongoing development of our STEM garden.
