Poetry Writing Cont....

Last week Abbey bought us an amazing poem about a new cake creation.  Lets find out how it turned out........

Wait!!!.......I forgot the icing,

thats what made the icing really quite frightening.

So I whipped out a bowl,

just realising I had to replace it, since it had a hole.

I got out the butter, sugar and cream,

and whipped it together if thats what the recipe means.

I pulled out some food dye, purple, orange and pink,

dripping it in, never blink.

Yes!  My icing is completed.

Its finished!

Oh what a nightmare, at least its all done.

I scooped out my icing, and drizzled it on,

Oops, I forgot to let the cake rest, now thats a con.

Oh whatever....this cake couldn't be better.

Now its time for this cakes moment to shine,

I hope this slice is better and more than fine.

Because the last one had was a big fright,

I slowly reach out for a slice of the cake,

Its magical, amazing oh what a delight!!

The icing has made it alright!

I jumped around, full of delight

I had finished my ultimate bake

and I thrived and succeeded to create a new type of cake!!

Well done Abbey!!  What a brilliant and entertaining peice of poetry.

Interschool Sport

Congratulations to our netball teams and football teams for qualifying for the finals.  Netball will be played at Banyule Nets Stadium. Game times Netball A semi-finals – 10,00 am. Grand final is at 11.40 am.

Netball B semi-final -  10.50.  Grand final at 12.30pm

Football will be at Beverley Rd Oval, Heidelberg at 10,00 am. Grand final at 11.45am.
