Thank you 2022 Sport Leaders 

A big thank you to our St Simon Sport leaders for 2022. They have dedicated themselves to promoting and encouraging all aspects of sport within our school which has resulted in a positive outlook on sport amongst our students and school community. We hope their leadership skills gained from this year’s roles continue into their community and representative sporting teams and high school sporting experiences. 

Rowville District Sport dates

As we go into 2023, please note some of the key Interschool Sport dates going into the first Semester. 

Term 1

District Swimming : Friday 17th February 2023

Division Swimming: Friday 10th March 2023

Knox Division AFL Girls Gala Competition (Year 5 & 6 selected students) : Wednesday 5th April 2023

Term 2

District Cross Country: Friday 5th May 2023 

District Winter Sport (2 round robin days): Friday 26th May 2023 & Friday 9th June 2023

Division Cross Country: Friday 2nd June

Dates are subject to change if necessary and any necessary changes will be notified through the newsletter, Operoo and Skoolbag.

South East Melbourne Phoenix Clinics- Free Singlets

Early this year, the students participated in GameTime basketball clinics run by coaches and players from the NBL team, the South East Melbourne Phoenix. As a token of their appreciation and our participation, they have provided every student with a GameTime Kmart white singlet to take home. We are extremely grateful for handing out these singlets to our school and each student in the school will receive one over this week.

Knox Rebel Sport Community Partnership with St Simons

Knox Rebel Sport has been a wonderful sponsor of our school in the past and this year. All purchases at this store by parents of the St Simon’s school community provide our school with store credits. These credits are used to provide the school with sporting equipment for sporting activities. 

We highly recommend that the next time you visit or purchase an item from Rebel Sport in Knox, ask how to earn credits for our school. Thank you all for your support of our school through our Knox Rebel Sport Community partnership.
