Excellent results in the Australian Mathematics Competition

In August, the Australian Mathematics Competition was held for selected Grade 3, 4, 5 and 6  students. We were so pleased with the large number of entries this year and that many students had a growth mindset in Mathematics. I am proud of ALL the students who entered the competition but special mention must go to these students who achieved outstanding results. 

These students received an excellent result of a Credit: Jadon De Silva, Alissa Barbotin, Caleb Barlett, Kaiden Diaz, Gabriel Dubois, Lana Chiem, Jeral Haj, Aarya Shundravel, Jed Azucena, Bianca Barbotin, Alana Barlett, Vineet Dhariwal, Zac Harvey, Salayah Kanjiani, Anton Leo, Alexander Matulic, Isabella Matulic, Daniel Paduano, Jack Sloan, Dylan Walther, Joel White and Daniel Younan. 

Furthermore, these students achieved an outstanding result of a Distinction: Keira Aponso,Emmett Baker, Martin John, Alina Leo, Noah Kavanagh and Abby Therese. Noah Kavanagh also won the ‘Best in School Award for St Simon’s’.
