Farewell 2022 Foundation!

As our 2022 school year comes to an end, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone that has contributed in making it an exceptional one.

We thank you, our Foundation parents, who have trusted us with your most precious possession- your children! Working together has been fundamental this year and we really appreciate the open communication and the never ending support.

Most important of all, we thank our amazing students. They have grown in so many ways and have made our job as their teachers so rewarding and worthwhile. We were extremely proud to see the children engage so well in their new Year One homerooms recently during Headstart Week. This seamless transition should make starting school in 2023 a breeze!

Celebrating Advent

Over the past few weeks, the children have been learning about the true meaning of Advent. They recognise Advent as the period for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ at Christmas.

The Four Sundays and Themes of Advent

First candle / Sunday: HOPE (The Prophecy Candle)
Second candle / Sunday: PEACE (The Bethlehem Candle)
Third candle / Sunday: JOY (The Shepherd's Candle)
Fourth candle / Sunday: LOVE (The Angel's Candle)

The children have delighted in singing the Advent Candle Song. We have included the link for families to enjoy singing this song at home.

Water Safety Week

Whilst it's hard to say goodbye, we wish all our 2022 Foundation students and families a happy and holy Christmas. We hope the holidays bring great joy and happiness to all. We also hope the children remember to put everything they have learnt this term about keeping safe in summer into practice.

Whole School Mass - Friday 16th December at 10am

Last day of school - Friday 16th December (1pm early dismissal)
