Science Education

What a wonderful year we've had learning and practicing science together. I wish all students and families a safe and wonderful Christmas and New Year.

If you would like to keep participating in science over the holidays, you may wish to consider:

  • going for a walk and closely observing what you can see
  • observing the moon and stars, possibly with binoculars
  • counting the number of birds or insects you can see over 15 minutes, draw one with as much detail as you can
  • going for a scavanger hunt
  • building a native bee hotel
  • exploring light and shadows - what materials cast shadows and which do not?
  • doing some simple science experiments.
