Roundup on Brisbane

In October, we held our first in-person conference in three years. The world has changed dramatically since our last conference in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2019 and we were concerned about how this would affect our Brisbane Conference. 

Thankfully, all our worries were for nought as Brisbane turned out to be one of our most successful conferences! It was amazing to see people reconnect with friends and peers that they hadn't seen in person in years. 

The easy-going nature of Brisbane played a part in our success, even if there was more rain than the sun that Australia is known for!

Over 900 delegates from 58 countries joined us for the four days, participated in over 200 scheduled sessions, and viewed over 500 posters on display.
