Year 6 Graduation News

Year 6 2025 Graduation Ceremony

When: Monday 15th December

Dear Year 6 Student, Parents & Carers,

The Year 6 Graduation is almost upon us. Just a reminder that it is being held in the Kim barne Nitji building (gymnasium).  Students and families are welcome to arrive from 11.00am onwards when the doors will be opened, with the official ceremony starting at 11.30am.  Year 6 students and guests are not required at school before this time.

At the conclusion of the official part of the ceremony (which includes the presentation of awards, some speeches, photo opportunities) all Year 6 students will be provided with lunch.  As mentioned previously, student lunches are paid for with a kind donation from the Parent and Friends Association (PFA).

Family members and guests who have prepaid for their lunches should expect to receive their lunch from 12.45pm.  Please understand that we have a huge quantity of orders to hand out and there will be staggered delivery times. Lunches are being supplied by the Miners Rest Tavern.

At 1.30pm families and guests will be invited to depart the school and the Year 6 students will remain at school for the rest of the school day, participating in a range of student selected games and activities.  They will finish the day at the normal school time (3.20pm).

Thank you.

Signature Keepsakes

Signature products – students will be presented will these after graduation lunch and have the opportunity for their peers to sign them.

Students will also have the opportunity to have their Year 6 tops signed (if they would like to) on the last day of school, after lunch (Thursday 18th December).  This will be held in the gym and other classes and teachers will be invited to visit during this hour.  Students may also wish to bring their signature products from the Graduation Day to have signed as well.
