Year 2 Conveyor Belts
Students viewed different types of conveyor belts and how they are used. After looking at images of basic pulleys they set about making a simple conveyor belt which used two fixed axle cylinders with a circular belt.
They chose an eatery and decided what food would be served, labelling parts and materials to be used. Students then selected different materials from the Makerspace such as, cardboard, cylinders, skewers, fabric, air-dry clay to make their model.
