Year 2/3

What an incredible year it has been in the Grade 2/3 classrooms! We are so proud of our students and the learning journey they have taken throughout 2025. Our Camp Day last week was an absolute highlight—filled with team challenges, laughter, and adventure. The students showed wonderful cooperation and enthusiasm, making it a positive experience for all.
Throughout the year, we have focused strongly on developing ICT skills. Our students have thrived in this space, creating engaging digital presentations and regularly reading and presenting to the class with confidence. Our Inform and Empower sessions have also supported students in building cyber-safe behaviours, helping them understand how to use technology responsibly.
Our knowledge-building units have taken students across time and place—from Vikings and the Solar System to World Rivers, Australian Poetry, Matilda, and Yirra and Her Deadly Dog Demon. Each topic has sparked curiosity, creative thinking, and meaningful discussions.
Most importantly, the connection and collaboration between all Grade 2/3 students has continued to strengthen. Their hard work, resilience and sense of community have made the teaching team incredibly proud.
Thank you to all students, families and staff for a wonderful year of learning and growth.
Travis, Nicole and Naomi
