Wellbeing

Thank you
As we reach the end of 2025, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you💐
It is a privillege to be in a position to support our students, families and staff and I thank you for the collaborative and supportive work we have done together.
I hope that you have found some resources and opportunities to support your family through the newsletter and resources shared throughout the year.
I look forward to continuing to work with our students and celebrating the personal growth that many have made in their efforts to support their own wellbeing through the development of skills and strategies such as, help seeking, problem solving, self-awareness, growth mindset, recognising and naming feelings, kindness in action and communication and so much more!!!!
I hope you all enjoy a safe and happy festive season and summer holidays.

Breakfast- Sit & Stay
We were able to have our first 'sit & stay' breakfast this week, thanks to cooperating weather and our Year 5 volunteers.
Whether you are in a rush, are still hungry or would just like to join some conversation everyone is welcome to our new seating area to participate.
We will be having another trial run next Thursday- with fruit, cheerios and milk to share. It will be available from 8:45am so please arrive at normal school time, no earlier.
As always, if students have missed breakfast they can let us know and we will provide something from the breakfast family to keep them going, which also helps their learning capacity.
More on this initiative in 2026.
A final 'Out & About' for 2025
-but a popular feature so it'll be back in 2026!
We love celebrating play, skills, friendships, fun and laughter at LPS! Also our leaders and helpers with their responsibilities, compliment givers, manners on show (including the door openers and give way by stepping asiders) and so very much more!
Enjoy the smiles 😊
