Year 7 to Year 9
As 2025 draws to a close, we reflect on an incredible year filled with achievements, learning, and shared experiences. Our College community continues to thrive because of the dedication and collaboration of students, families, and staff who work together with one goal in mind, the long-term success, growth and wellbeing of our students.
Last week, we had the joy of welcoming our incoming Year 7 students for 2026. Orientation Day was a wonderful success, with smiles all around and a sense of excitement for the journey ahead. A heartfelt thank you to Ms Shannon MacDonald and our Year Coordinators for their outstanding efforts in making the day so memorable.
This term also brought a unique hands-on learning opportunity through our partnership with Bike Rescue. Each Tuesday, a group of Year 9 students rolled up their sleeves to learn the art of bike maintenance and repair, a skill that combines practical knowledge with problem-solving. Congratulations to Mason Brown, Mace Del Carlo, James Gregory, Tyler Jarvis, Dominic Jukic, Jaxxon Spencer, Nate Tingwell, Oliver Walton, and Tristan Cooper for embracing this challenge. Special thanks to Mr Hunt for organising this enriching experience.
As we bid farewell to our Year 9 cohort as they move into Senior School, we celebrate their growth and resilience. They are ready for the new challenges ahead, and we couldn’t be prouder. To all our students and families, we wish you a safe, joyful, and family-oriented holiday season. May you find time to rest, reflect, and embrace the true meaning of Christmas. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026, refreshed and ready for another year of learning and community.
Warm regards,
Mr Brendan McGrath
Head of Middle School (Year 7 to Year 9)
