Grade 2 Report

The last few weeks in Grade 2 have been full of great learning and wonderful presentations!
In Maths, students have been working hard to revise important skills, including number facts, strategies for solving problems, and ways to explain their thinking clearly. Some of the students demonstrated their learning by creating fabulous “Array Cities” to represent multiplication.
Our classrooms have also been buzzing with excitement as students presented their “Me on a Map” projects.
Each child shared the different places that make up their world, from their home to their city, state, and country. The presentations were thoughtful, creative, and showed just how much the children have learned about their place in the world.
Children have also begun working on their Around Australia PowerPoints. They are developing research skills, learning to organise information, and practising how to present it in a clear and engaging way. We can’t wait to see the finished projects!
Well done, Grade 2, keep up the amazing effort!
