Dear parents and carers,

Welcome back to Term 1!

We are thrilled to see our students settle in so quickly and engage enthusiastically in their learning. It has been wonderful to witness their curiosity, energy, and positivity in classrooms. Our teachers and education support staff have been working hard to create supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environments for all students.

Seesaw will be used to share classroom learning, including photos, updates, and snapshots of student achievements. If you have any difficulties accessing or signing in, please contact your child’s classroom teacher for assistance.

Student Support Group (SSG) weeks will take place between 9 February and 26 February. Letters will be sent home shortly. These meetings provide a great opportunity to meet new teachers, discuss Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals, and collaborate on supporting your child’s learning and wellbeing throughout the year.

We look forward to a wonderful term ahead!

Kind Regards,

Stefania Mantinioti

ROOM 10

What a wonderful start to the school year it has been for Room 10. The children have begun to settle beautifully into their new classroom routines, growing more confident each day as they learn where things are, how the day flows, and what it feels like to be part of our learning community.

The photos from these first two weeks capture some of the moments we are already proudest of: students practising their handwriting during phonics sessions, exploring number patterns, skip counting, and beginning to understand place value through hands‑on activities. These early experiences lay the foundation for the learning ahead, and it’s been lovely to see the children approach each task with curiosity and enthusiasm.

A special thank you to our sub‑school leader, Stefania, for her constant support, encouragement, and steady guidance. Her presence has made these first weeks smoother and more uplifting for both staff and students.

We’re excited for the term to unfold and can’t wait to share more of their progress with you.
