End of Year – Please return your library books
It is now nearly the end of 2025, and it is time to return your library books as soon as possible. Missing book notices have been sent home, so that you know which books need to be returned to the library. Students are welcome to come to the library any time during school hours. The library is open from 8.45am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday.
It would be appreciated if you could check all the hidey places that books seem to like – between couch pillows, under beds, in the car under seats, hiding in your own bookshelves, and in other siblings’ bedrooms. Please talk to me before you pay for any missing books, as there may be options other than paying for them or they may have been misplaced at school or in the library.

We were fortunate to be chosen as one of 15 schools that Adam Wallace (author) launched his new book “Hatman”. Adam was here on Monday giving a writing and drawing workshop to the students in Year 2 – Year 5. If you wanted to order a signed copy of “Hatman” please order online and Adam will post the books to you.
Adam talked about his inspiration for “Hatman”, ways of generating stories using every day activities and objects, and to think of “problems” for the main characters. The activity the students loved best was learning about drawing different expressions just using circles for the eyes but changing the noses, mouths and eyebrows. They also learnt about drawing different types of hats. Ask your child to show you!
