Parent / Student/Teacher Interviews

Bookings will be open at 8.30am on Friday 5th September for the Semester 2 Parent/Child/Teacher Interviews.

Interviews will be 10 minutes and held in the School Hall on Monday 15th September between 2.30pm and 7.00pm.

We encourage all children to be active participants in the 10 minute interviews.    This provides an opportunity for children to share their learning journey and successes with their family and to also be active responsible participants in their own learning.

Intervew for Prep R families

Your parent/student/teacher interview will be scheduled in the first half of Term 4. Please read the letter that was emailed to all Prep R families this morning.

Optional Child School Attendance – Monday 15th September  - 1.35pm-3.15pm

Teaching staff will be released on the afternoon of Monday 15th September to commence their interviews’.   Children remaining at school for the afternoon block will be grouped in levels and supervised by staff who are not required at these Interviews.

Parents attending interviews may collect their child/ren from these level gatherings.

Parents do have the option of collecting their child/ren from their classroom at 1.35pm.

Collection of children assists staff by reducing the number of children being present in the afternoon block.

NED's Resilience Ride

Hello to our wonderful St Andrew’s Community.

As you know the company who were doing our school wide reliance performance, Ned’s Resilience Ride, had to be postponed. This has now been re-scheduled for the 9th of October. Yoyos will go on sale prior to the event. More information will be sent out closer to the date.

On another note, Next week is Child Protection Week. This is so important and provides us with a wonderful opportunity to reinforce our Child Safety messages. The school will be looking at this over the coming weeks and I would ask you to please have a look at this link as it has some truly worthwhile information for you as parents and carers.

Sports & Sparkle Day

On Friday 19th September students can come dressed wearing their favourite sport jersey or clothes inspired by their favourite sporting activity.

Attendance and school start/finish times

Please ensure that your child/ren arrive for school on time (between 8.15am and 8.30am - not before 8.15am) each day and that you are at school to collect your children at 3.15pm.

There are staff members on duty from 8.15am – 8.45am each morning and after school until 3.30pm.  If you are running late to pick up your child (after 3.15pm) please contact the office as soon as possible.

Lost Property

Please check the lost property bin if you are missing any items.

Our lost property is stored in the blue wheelie bin.

It is helpful to mark your child/ren's item of clothing clearly to ensure a quick return.
