Victorian Coding Competition

As part of our Enrichment Program, two teams of talented students recently participated in the Victorian Coding Competition, held last Thursday at Caulfield Grammar School – Caulfield Campus. The event was run by the Mathematical Association of Victoria and featured a range of real-world, team-based coding challenges designed to test creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.

We were proud to be represented by:

  • Year 5 Team – Harrison, Amber, Ishaan, and Lin
  • Year 6 Team – Arundi, Stanley, Xinyi, and Viaan

Both teams performed exceptionally well, working together with enthusiasm and focus throughout the day.

We are thrilled to share their achievements:

  • The Year 5 team finished in a strong 6th place
  • The Year 6 team placed 3rd overall, earning a spot on the podium!

As a special reward, each Year 6 team member received a $50 gift certificate in recognition of their outstanding performance.

Congratulations to all eight students for their hard work and for representing our school with pride!

A big thank you to Mr Stockton for providing the students with the skills and support needed to succeed, and for facilitating their participation in this exciting event.

 School Pride

Thank you to PLP and 5BT who undertook School Pride this week as a Buddies activity.

Nude Food

A reminder that as a 5-star Resource Smart School we are a Nude Food school.  This means that we ask that we do not have any wrappers, packets etc come into school.  We appreciate your support with helping us continue to be Sustainable.
