From the Classroom - B5 (Jess)

It has been a busy few weeks in B5!

Last Monday, we celebrated the end of Book Week with our costume parade, open morning and incursion. I would like to thank all families who were able to come in, spend some time with the students and see the craft they developed for various Shortlisted Books the previous week. We had some fantastic costumes in B5, from 'Sadie in the Hat' and 'Brooke 1' (adapted from The Cat in the Hat), 'Fern and Wilbur' from Charlotte's Web, and Harry Potter. 

We have been working hard on publishing our narratives for the Writers' Festival next week and cannot wait to share our incredible stories with you on Wednesday at the Open Afternoon. These pieces are a culmination of our learning this term, focusing on including narrative skills including dialogue, similes and power of three.
