Bouncing Bubbles
Blowing bubbles is a fun activity for kids of any age. But have you ever tried bouncing bubbles? It’s a whole new bubble science project that your kids will love and will play it for hours.
Do you wonder why bubbles bounce?
We found out that bubbles hate oil and dirt that is on our skin so they just pop as soon as they touch that oily and dirty surface.
Bouncing bubbles recipe
You will need:
- 1 cup of distilled water
- 1/2 cup of dish detergent
- 1 spoon of sugar
- a pair of gloves or socks.
a straw or a bubble wand.
Add dish detergent and sugar to water and mix well. Let it stay still for few hours. The longer you wait the stronger the bubbles will be. However, we did try to bounce them right away and we were pretty successful.
Put your gloves on, and start bouncing bubbles.
Straw Labyrinth Game
This maze is fun and easy to make out of a large cardboard box and strong plastic drinking straws.
To make the maze, cut your straws into different lengths and then position them where you think they should go on inside the box. You may wish to pencil in an outline of your maze before gluing down the straws so that you are sure your pattern of straws will end the way you hope they will.
To make this amazing maze, you will need a large shallow box, some milkshake straws, and a glue gun. Milkshake straws are a little bigger and stronger than regular straws but you can use either.
Use a hot glue gun to hold the straws in place inside your box. Press and hold each straw on the hot glue for a few seconds then move onto the next straw until you have all your straws firmly glued inside the box. You can use marble’s to run through the maze!
