With only one more week to go, this will be our final class newsletter for the term.
Thank you for all your support, encouragement, and partnership in your child’s learning.
I hope all the students enjoy a well-deserved holiday break! Have a safe and restful time with your families, and I look forward to seeing everyone back refreshed and ready for a new term of learning.
Surprise, Surprise Puppet Show
Last Tuesday afternoon, our students were treated to a lively performance of the Surprise, Surprise! Puppet Show. This high-energy show was set in a quirky Prank Factory, filled with original songs, jokes, sound effects, and plenty of fun suspense.
The puppets brought the stage to life with wacky inventions and hilarious moments that only puppets could pull off! Some highlights included:
- Arthur, the shrinking monster,
- Eddie, who amazed everyone with his jaw-dropping “Multiplying Machine,” and
- Wolfie, a comedic wolf with a tail that just wouldn’t behave!
The children laughed, gasped, and joined in the excitement as the puppets tried to sell their surprise talents and wild ideas to a curious customer.
Book Week and Grandparents Day
On Thursday, it was lovely to welcome so many grandparents into our school for Grandparents’ Day. The students really enjoyed sharing Book Week activities with their special visitors, and the classrooms were filled with smiles, stories, and laughter.
On Friday morning, we celebrated with our Book Week Parade. The creativity and effort that went into the costumes was fantastic—there were characters from all kinds of stories, and it was wonderful to see our students’ love of reading shine through. Thank you to families for helping make this such a fun and memorable week!
