Welcome to this edition of Edge News, your go-to source for all things Ivanhoe Edge! Each term, we’re proud to showcase the incredible talent, energy, and growth of our students as they embrace opportunities to excel both on and off the field.
This newsletter is designed to keep our Ivanhoe Grammar School community connected and informed about the exciting programs, upcoming events, and new initiatives shaping Ivanhoe Edge. Whether you’re a parent, student, or coach, Edge News is your snapshot of how we’re supporting young athletes and performers to reach their full potential.
As summer season begins many first teams are undergoing their trials sessions. A number of our students are in the process of trialing so we wish them all the best in their pursuit to play in the top level school teams. If you are new to your sport and looking for some extra coaching leading into the sport season please reach out to us at Ivanhoe Edge and we can look to fit you in to a session with our coaches.
With winter seemingly behind us there are a number of changes in our current students training loads and sports they are not playing. This change often brings more or less time available for students to fit in their training. A reminder that we offer the variety of training options for each student to plan their training around their current loads.
If you have changed sports or wish to add an additional coaching session for a new sport feel free to reach out. We have had many of our Ivanhoe edge students opting in to the spring season of sport at IGS. A reminder that injuries don’t necessarily mean you cannot continue your training and remaining involved in your sport. Ivanhoe Edge will connect with your physio or medical team to ensure our reflects the recommendations and level of activity that can be done.
